IT IS NOTABLE FOR:
- Being a limited edition that pays tribute to the Palomino pencil. In 2007, Palomino launched a pencil that captivated writing fans. They were so well made that they were reminiscent of the famous blackwings, pencils that despite their fame and having been used by figures such as John Steinbeck, had been discontinued in 1990 and were priced at $40 per pencil on eBay. The clients then asked the Palomino house to bring the Blackwing brand and its pencils back to life, something they carried out in 2010. To commemorate this merger, the Palomino house has created this Blackwing Palomino Orange, a fusion between the models that managed to unite the destiny of both manufacturers to delight writers and illustrators around the world.
- Be part of the Eras series. Eras is one of the most famous series as it was inspired by one of the first Blackwings produced by the Palomino house.
- Its quality and design. They are made with extra firm graphite and have all the characteristics of the Blackwing, plus a gold engraved ring at the top to pay tribute to the Palomino pencils.

ARTISTIC STYLE FOR TRUE SYBARITES
Blackwing pencils were originally introduced by Eberhard Faber Pencil Company in the 1930s. Their cult following included John Steinbeck, Vladimir Nabokov, Truman Capote, Chuck Jones who proudly used the Blackwing 602 to create Bugs Bunny and many other characters from Looney Tunes. He stated that a pen is full of ink, but the Blackwing is full of ideas. In 2010, Palomino launched the reissue of the legendary pencils that disappeared in 1990.
