Before Breakfast is making a strong entrance. This London-based Riso design and print studio creates handcrafted, contemporary and sustainable stationery for practical, everyday use. The brand was created by Nicki Shen in 2016 as a result of her life philosophy of always doing something before breakfast. All of their paper products are handmade and printed with soy-based inks using Riso printers. Riso printing is undoubtedly better for our environment and the ink also offers richer, more vibrant colours. It uses halftones and as the ink is translucent, the resulting effect is the possibility of creating new and exciting colours by superimposing one colour over another on paper.
