He believed that art could be a tool for dialogue, reflection, and change, and for this reason, he taught his students the art of living in the present, looking closely, and expressing themselves through artistic creation.

- Presenting a design inspired by Corita's 6-color rainbow. Commissioned in 1971, 15 years before his death, the rainbow adorns a large natural gas storage tank on Interstate 93 near Dorchester, Massachusetts.

ARTISTIC STYLE FOR TRUE FOODIES
Blackwing pencils were originally introduced by the Eberhard Faber Pencil Company in the 1930s. His cult following included John Steinbeck, Vladimir Nabokov, Truman Capote, Chuck Jones who proudly used the Blackwing 602 to create Bugs Bunny and many other characters from Looney tunes. He declared that a pen is full of ink, but the Blackwing is full of ideas. In 2010, Palomino launched the reissue of the legendary pencils that disappeared in 1990.
