- Being a limited edition that pays homage to the Palomino pencil. In 2007, the Palomino house launched a pencil that captivated fans of writing. They were so well made that they were reminiscent of the famous blackwings, some pencils that despite their fame and having been used by figures like John Steinbeck, had been discontinued in 1990 and were listed at $40 per pencil on eBay. The clients then asked the house of Palomino to bring the Blackwing brand and its pencils back to life, something they carried out in 2010. To commemorate this merger, the house of Palomino has created this Blackwing Palomino Orange, a fusion between the models that managed to unite the fate of both manufacturers to delight writers and cartoonists around the world.
- Be part of the Eras series. Eras is one of the most famous series as it is inspired by one of the first Blackwing produced by the Palomino house.
- Its quality and design. They are made with extra-firm graphite and have all the characteristics of the Blackwing, plus a gold-engraved ring at the top to honor Palomino pencils.

ARTISTIC STYLE FOR TRUE FOODIES
Blackwing pencils were originally introduced by the Eberhard Faber Pencil Company in the 1930s. His cult following included John Steinbeck, Vladimir Nabokov, Truman Capote, Chuck Jones who proudly used the Blackwing 602 to create Bugs Bunny and many other characters from Looney tunes. He declared that a pen is full of ink, but the Blackwing is full of ideas. In 2010, Palomino launched the reissue of the legendary pencils that disappeared in 1990.
